December 1st Educational Event in Washington, DC, “Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Transplant: The Future of Survivorship”

The National Bone Marrow Transplant Link (nbmtLINK) hosted a FREE educational event for bone marrow/stem cell transplant patients, survivors, their caregivers, families, and health professionals on December 1, 2009 entitled  "Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Transplant: The Future of Survivorship."  It was held at the offices of Jones Day, 51 Louisiana Avenue, N.W. in Washington, DC., and featured Guest Speakers Dr. Stephanie Lee, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center; Dr. Steven Pavletic, National Cancer Institute; Dr. Ellen Frank, a five-year transplant survivor; and Patti Lee, the daughter of a transplant survivor.  If you were not able to attend the event, you can watch/listen to their presentations on our YouTube site: www.youtube.com/nbmtlink.
